AQ Audio has launched SmartSpeaker Wireless + Portable speaker, and this speaker comes with high-powered amplifier and two sound drivers that can produce 24-watt of power.
In order to stream music, SmartSpeaker connects to a home network via WiFi or AirPlay, so you can easily play music from your iOS device, or a computer that runs iTunes. Thanks to the SilverBirch firmware, you can stream music directly right from the iPhone/iPad without the use of WiFi network. SmartSpeaker also supports DLNA for streaming music from Android devices with AQ Play app, and you can also stream music from Windows PC using Play To in Windows Media Player.
In addition, there’s a line-in jack, so you can connect audio sources directly. As for the battery, it can provide you with 10 hours of play time in AirPlay mode, and up to 20 hours while using line-in connection.
As for the price, AQ Audio’s SmartSpeaker is priced at $179, but you can get Twin Pack or 4 Pack for $349 or $675, respectively.
