We are all waiting for Nintendo’s upcoming home console with anticipation, and if you are inpatient as we are, then you’ll probably be interested to hear what’s under the hood of Nintendo Wii U.
According to the online reports, Wii U will be using:-
1) 45nm PowerPC-based
2)3GHz processor with four cores
3)similar to the Xbox 360 processor.
As for other specifications, Wii U will use:-
1)768MB of DRAM that is shared between CPU and GPU.
2)We have to mention that GPU should also use 40nm AMD design.
Same as with the previous consoles from Nintendo, Wii U isn’t focused on hardware power, instead it focuses on innovative design and gameplay. Regarding the hardware specs, they are revealed by the developer who claims to have Wii U in his possession, but no official statement about hardware specs has been released by Nintendo so far.
As for the release of Nintendo Wii U, we’ll have to wait for the end of 2012, and regarding the price, Wii U will probably cost a bit more than its predecessor.
